I teach a creativity enhancing program for adults based on a method developed by American author, screenwriter and filmmaker Julia Cameron.
“Embody Through Storytelling” was designed to help individuals connect with the unadulterated source of passion and joy that lies at the core of who they are, and learn how to maintain a natural curiosity when dealing with mental or emotional roadblocks.
The program is created to help people with artistic creative recovery, which teaches techniques and exercises to assist people in gaining self-confidence in harnessing their creative talents and skills.
“Embody Through Storytelling” uses a bundle of methods, including journaling, meditation, short story/script writing, and other techniques that promote self-awareness and self-assessment.
The original program means 12 weeks of active writing, self work and exercises.
This program is designed for a group of 12 people or less.
What I do is combine the essentials of each week with the fundamentals of this program, which are daily writing and reflection.
The Embody Through Storytelling workshop means a brief 2,5 hours of creative introspection, featuring an introduction to Julia Cameron’s method and combined solution-oriented techniques aimed at self-awareness, self-reflection and cognitive enhancement.
The extended version of the workshop is a 7 day coaching program which can be adapted to suit tailored needs, as per companies or individuals.
Embody Through Storytelling is aimed at individuals who are looking to tap into their personal creative inner source, regardless the industry they work in or the walk of life they come from. We address an open conversation with the inner child, the happiness architect that lives inside each one of us, and focus on the ways this deep connection can strengthen the way we can transform our lives, our jobs and our relationships through the permeability of creativity.
